Good news. We have a start date. Through careful negotiation of calendars and timetables, Jeff has made March 5th available for the COETAIL @ BKK cohort to begin. This introductory course will run from March 5th to April 30th with time being given for the holidays within. For many this will be a relief that the course will be starting soon while not running too late as to become part of the end of the year craziness. Another positive to getting one of the 5 courses completed this school year is that the remaining 4 courses can easily be done before the end of next school year. Details of this will be forthcoming, but generally we anticipate completing courses 2 and 3 by December and the last two before June 2012.
Still more good news, the total number of participants that have confirmed with me thus far is 13. If you would like to see who is currently signed up, visit the WikiSpace I created at:
I am very aware that a number of people have yet to confirm their interest, so I expect the number to go up and the corresponding costs per participant to go down.
The COETAIL website (http://www.coetail.asia/) has a great deal of information about the course in general and the musing and work of current participants of other cohorts. As well there is a link to our cohort, COETIAL @ BKK (http://www.coetail.asia/bkk/) that was just set up today. Again, more information will be placed here as it becomes available.
Finally, a request. Should you know someone who would be keen to join our COETAIL cohort, please send them my way after forwarding the COETAIL links above. I know that there are more people perfectly suited for this course in Bangkok, we just need to get the word out. I will be sending out another email to other schools with the updated start date next week. The maximum number we can accommodate is 25 participants.
Thanks everyone for your patience with this process. There is still much to be done, but a start date was key. If you have not already confirmed your interest in joining the re-scheduled COETAIL @ BKK cohort, please do so soon.
